Youeni Foodstore Darlinghurst is a quaint and busy cafe at the end of S Dowling st (379 to be precise). We stopped here for a coffee and snack and chose to share one of the fresh and seasonal sandwiches they have on the menu. The place was very busy (even though it was a wednesday) so we shared with two others on a small table. Youeni is built into a terrace house which has two rooms and lots of light. It has rustic element and forever changing bookshelves with interesting teas and trinkets. The food was fresh, homemade and delicious (just what I needed before we continued exploring the streets of sydney).
