Eclectika Home

A few weeks back now I was lucky enough to work with two very talented artists Bree Taaffe (Eclectika owner and maker of the most extraordinary smelling candles) and kerena the stylist we would have been lost without on photographing the new Eclectika candle ranges.

If you have never burnt an Eclectika candle you are missing out, they make my whole house smell so sweet and are strong and beautiful. My favourite is the burnt fig and cassis but there are so many it was hard to choose. All of the ranges are hand poured soy candles in beautiful glass jars both frosted and not.

Grinders Mark

The other day while grabbing my morning coffee fix I was blown away by my coffee cup. Not only was the contents strong so was the graphics on the cup. I had to find out who was rocking my world. Turns out Grinders Mark are changing the face of boring coffee cups and will keep changing the designs. Now not only do I look forward to coffee in the morning I also find myself patiently waiting for the next assault of artistry brilliance.

Clare + Danny

Over the long weekend I headed out to Surry Hills with Danny and Clare to explore the back streets of graffiti, over grown foliage and colourful doors. After a big brunch we set of on the adventure. You can really tell that these two are madly in love.

Yesterday in Pictures

Yesterday I went on the hunt for an elegant vintage dress. The kind of dress that people swoon at as soon as they see you. The adventure took me to some of my favourite vintage stores around Surry Hills including zoo empourium, cream on king, u-turn vintage, grandma takes a trip and we even squeezed in ici et la after lunch at the book kitchen. It was such and amazing day and this is what it looked like in pictures.

Tiffany and the Autumn leaves

Its finally Autumn! yay, (when really its been winter for about a month). I drove past the most beautiful line of yellow, orange leaved tree and in the next instant I was on the phone to Tiffany (my best friend from high school)  to do a portrait shoot. The dog, not hers just a friendly dog from the neighbourhood.
